The Map

The Map is book 1 and the foundational book in our LifeWorks series. Life Works the way it was intended to when we make the Bible our guide book. By learning its promises, listening to its truth and living by its instructions, we will be equipped to overcome the obstacles along our journey.

Life Works and it does indeed work well, when we choose to actively pursue a godly life, using His Word as our guide book. Through the Word of God we can understand who we are in His eyes, the truth as spoken by our creator. We can know exactly what we were created for by simply asking the One who created us.
The LifeWorks series was created to edify, educate and equip women to come to a new revelation of the beauty within them and the blessings that can flow into their life when it is lived for God.

The Path

Book 2 of LifeWorks is The Path, or our Life’s Work. What path are we meant to take? How can we know what it is? If our Map is the piece that brings us understanding, The Path is where we uncover what is exceptional about us as individuals. We start the process by looking at all of the following:

  • Our temperament
  • Our innate gifts and abilities
  • Skills we’ve learned,
  • Our passions and dreams
  • Current life situation

When all of those factors combine, they create the unique person we are. A clear picture of ourselves will give us a clearer idea of what our purpose is and where we are to live it out.

Book 1 in this series introduced our guide book, The Map, to shows us the way. Book 2 gives instructions for finding our unique Path. In this book, we’re going to utilize some tools that will make our journey easier.
Book 3 is The Tools, where the rubber meets the road, our Life’s Work. What steps do we need to take to move toward our best life? It’s great to have a better understanding of who God says we are, uncovering why we are the way we are, but how do we undertake to put that into use on a daily basis? For many of us, there is a vague (maybe for you it is not so vague) knowing that something isn’t quite right, as if we’re not living the life we know we were meant to live. Even if we identify a potential new direction for our lives we often don’t know how to put it into practice.
The Tools is a workbook, full of insightful questions, assessment tests and guidance for putting our unique life into action.

Our temperament is foundational to how we think, act, behave, and view the world. Understanding our temperament, its strengths and weaknesses, will empower us to begin releasing the potential created within us. It will give us a revelation of why we are different from others and why that difference is a gift to be valued.

Understanding our temperament and applying that same understanding to the people in our lives, will improve relationships, increase cooperation, foster better communication, and open a whole new world of possibilities. This short (1 hour) audio seminar describes each of the temperaments in depth and provides guidance in uncovering your personal temperament type.

Are you walking the Path you are meant to walk? If you answered yes, congratulations, you are among the minority. You are in the right place to help you further on your journey. If you answered “no” or ” I don’t know”, you are in the right place, too, because within The Path section you will find plenty of guidance and resources to help you find your Path. Everyone, no matter where they are in the journey, will find tools to help along the way.

You may be feeling like you’re not quite on the right Path. You may have this sense within you that there is something more you were created for. Or, you might not be vague about it at all. You might be sure your life is not all it is meant to be. The trick is – how do we find what it is we were created to do?

Our Path is unique to each of us. It is the relationships we build, the works of our hands, the blessings we share and the legacy we leave. While we serve the same God, follow the same commandments, and seek to do His will, we do it in different ways.

We are all a different combination of our personality type,  spiritual gifts,  learning style,  life experiences,  passions, talents and interests. While there are only so many different temperaments, when you layer on our unique gifts, experiences, skills, etc, there are so many possible combinations that no two people are exactly alike.

Within The Path section are the articles, lessons, and other resources to help you discover more about yourself. Learn about your personality type  and it’s strengths and weaknesses. Discover your spiritual gifts and begin to see the how the hand of God has been moving in your life in ways you never realized. Click here to start down The Path
